Our Story...

We live in small town Franklin, Idaho and absolutely love it!! Tim and I have been married for 11 years and we have three crazy, busy boys; Nicholas (Nic) is 9, Tyler (Ty) is 6, and Joshua (Josh) is 4 and a precious little girl (Alexys) who just turned 1. Tim works for the U.S. Postal Service as a Supervisor. I am a State Licensed Daycare Provider and Preschool Teacher. I love my job (most of the time) and I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to be home with my kids. I don't have time for scrapbooking and so this is as close as it gets to preserving my family's journey through life.

Merry Christmas from the Dentons :)

I know it's late!  What can I say?  We are busy as usual....Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  We sure did :)

Four happy little ones...so excited to begin opening presents :)

Alexys lovign her first princess toy and her pretty necklaces.  She loved it!

Yeah, I know what you're thinking...spoiled!!  No, this is something that we have saved for a long time for and wanted to get for our boys.  We live in too perfect of an area to not have a 4-wheeler.  They loved it! One for Nic and Ty to share...

And one for Josh...

Loving it!!

And when the day was all over...we were all exhausted and Alexys just couldn't stay awake anymore.  Nic loves cuddling his sister and letting her fall asleep.  It was a wonderful Christmas filled with lots of visits to family which made it an extra special Christmas.

Here we go!!

I'm so excited about this new adventure that has been in the making for quite a few years!!  I have always loved taking portraits and have been asked to photograph so many wonderful people.  I have decided to create a blog featuring photos that I have taken so that people can view the many locations that I like to take pictures.  This is also where any photo session sneak peaks can be viewed.  More photos will be posted soon...check out my new blog  http://www.picsbygina.blogspot.com/

Happy Halloween 2010

Halloween was so great this year!  We got to go see both sets of Grandparents, and all 3 sets of Great Grandparents.  We went Trunk-or-Treating in Richmond with grandparents and cousins, went door to door to a few people in the ward and then settled in for the evening to watch a fun movie and eat lots of treats!

Didn't post any pics of soccer this year but had to post this one of Ty and Nic and their cousins Tanner and Karson.  The two younger boys were on the same team and the two older boys were on the same team...they had the same coach though.  What a memorable soccer season!  There was one night that all 4 boys each scored 2 goals.  Go Denton boys!!

Happy 1st Birthday Alexys!

Can't believe that our little girl is 1 year old....we love you Alexys!

Time.......

Where does time go??  I have always been told that the older you get, the quicker time passes.  I've also been told the more kids you get, the quicker the new little ones seem to grow.  I've found this all to be true.  The past 5 months have been a whirlwind of change, excitement, joy, sadness, fear, growth and blessings that outweigh everything.  There is no way for me to recount what has happened in the 5 months since I've updated our blog.  But I do want to say that I am so blessed!  I have the most wonderful husband in the world.  He is such a wonderful support and help to me.  He honors his priesthood and is a wonderful father.  I have 4 amazing children who I love more than I can express.  Each one is their own special little person, each one teaches me so much every day.  I don't know what I'd do without them.  I am so grateful that I get to be home and be mom and I know that Heavenly Father has made it possible for me to do so.  I love my Parents, my Grandparents, my Brother and Sister and all of my cute nieces and nephews.  I love my in-laws...our world has been turned upside down by an ugly word called cancer...but I have seen and felt the love of our Heavenly Father surround us all as I've watch those that I love struggle through this.  I have wonderful friends who lift me up and make me a better person.  My Heavenly Father has blessed me so much.  I love him.  He is my strength, and blesses me with so much everyday... I know my Savior loves me and my family....

Gone Fishin'

June 2010
Tim took us over to Newton for some fishing.  We met Grandpa Denton there too so it was extra fun.  It rained on us a lot of the time but that didn't stop the boys.  As long as they had their mud boots and their umbrellas they were happy. We didn't catch anything but we still had a great time.

Ty and Grandpa

Josh is all smiles with his umbrella

Check out those muddy boots!

Nic liked making the rocks skip in the water....I thought his was a great pic of him.

Me and my boys

May (just had to post-pics)

So many posts, so little time....here are a few pics that I had to post with a little note about each.

Alexys with hair??  We got the biggest laugh about this one!

Josh has been getting himself dressed for quite a while...and once in a while he comes upstairs with something on inside out or backwards....this morning he came upstairs with everything inside one wrong.  Couldn't help but take a pic.  Love you Josh!

For preschool and daycare this year I decided to order one of those raise your own catarpillars into butterflies and release them kids and it was so much fun!!  The kids loved watching them grow from 1/4 inch catarpillars into fat 1 1/2 inch catarpillars-then into their crysallis stage and then to painted lady butterflies.

Nic loved holding the butterflies
Graduating preschool class of 2010
This was the funnest class-I enjoyed each of them so much and miss them already!!
